staircase cabinet
The startingpoint for this project was this open staircase. The client had a wish for more storage so the stairs had to become a cabinet.
I started by covering the the steps with oakwood.
Next step was building the inside of the cabinet. The grid is based on standard IKEA boxes and artbooks.
Rubber profiles are inserted to ensure proper grip on the new oak steps.
Doors are plaecd, cabinet is ready for painting.
