Once again i realized a big interior project together with 1op1archticten in Amsterdam, and again it is a midwivesoffice.  It is called Groei and is located in the heart of Slotermeer. Its a beautiful curvy interior with a few interesting features. This time architect Rosman asked me to build in a quite new material i had never worked with; bamboo veneer from moso.  Its an interesting material of 17 mm wide, 2 mm thick bamboo strips, glued on a thin layer of textile.

Bamboo is a fast growing renewable hard wood-like material with a beautiful colour and structure. actually its not wod but official it is grass. The material inspired me to design the froglamp which is made out of the same material.
