This object within the series of the 'archtitecturals' is inspired by materials on houseroofs. I first loosly build a box out of sober materials. Then the roofing felt is used as glue to keep the inner wooden structure together.

The roofmaterial is melted with fire until it gets sticky and then it is placed on the frame immediately. As soon as it cools down it glues the whole together and makes the construction strong.

All together it results in a very interesting graphic new skin for various shapes of fairytale-like furniture.
