The ript chair is already 15 years old. Since it excisted i wanted to improve it and to make production quicker. In 2022 i bought a CNC machine so now it is much easier for me to develop objects. So here is the new improved Riptchair.

The riptchair is a superlight and smart chair made out of loose boards.  The pieces are cut in a 45 degrees angle while holes are drilled along the joints. Then the chair can be constructed only with tie rips. It is a bit like sewing textile. The tierips are the yarn.

 

You can choose between a blanco version and two different materials for the toplayer for seat and back: felt of Forbo desktop marmoleum. There are a lot of colours available in both materials.
